About Us
Road Company EAD was established in 2006. It owns an accredited Road Construction Laboratory to perform testing, analysis and control over new construction and rehabilitation of road and railway infrastructure. Road Construction Laboratory offers a full range of laboratory testing required for the proper execution of infrastructure projects:
- Pre-testing of all building materials before commencement of road infrastructure projects
- Complete testing of materials for railway construction
- Continuous and systematic control aiming to ensure the quality of building materials as required by the technical specifications for execution of infrastructure projects
- Final testing of finished asphalt layers, road embankments and concrete structures
- The Test Certificates issued by the Laboratory serve as a basis for acceptance of construction works by the construction supervision and the employer according to the normative regulations.
Accreditation
The Laboratory has been accredited by the Executive Agency “Bulgarian Accreditation Service” in accordance with BDS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 valid until 31 October 2023.
The Road Construction Laboratory of Road Company EAD is a successor to the Road Test Laboratory of Patstroy-92 AD. The first accreditation of the Laboratory was obtained in 2003. In 2016, a new mobile office of the Laboratory was accredited, which can be positioned in various locations throughout the country and abroad. The Laboratory expands its scope of accredited tests in conformity with every change in the normative requirements for laboratory-related activities in Bulgaria.
The Road Construction Laboratory has been approved as a subcontractor of the Proficiency Testing Provider of the UCLSB (Union of Construction Laboratory Specialists in Bulgaria).
